The soft yet grainy touch
on my feet makes me shiver...
The sand sticking to my body,
the wind blowing on my face...
The cold remains...
Reminding me of a time when we once were.
The waves come crashing down
on me, still you keep away...
my arms grasp out to reach you,
but still you seem to fade away.
An escape from the world,
I find myself at the shore,
a lost paradise,
still thinking of you...
The sound of the waves,
rising and falling...
They relax my lost mind,
filled with questions and emotions.
Why did you leave this life behind?
I'm sure you never meant to hurt me,
but your actions have turned me
away from all that I had once wished for.
You believed there was a time
when we belonged together...
but now you refuse to believe the echoes
of our voices breaking upon each other.

The moist ground freezes
my will to move...
comfortably standing...
daydreaming....

Your beauty reflects upon the sea,
it shines for you, and only you.
